Hi everyone! I just got a Kamado Joe Classic II last week. My wife and I are really looking forward to cooking some great meals on it. Found this site and seemed like a great place to learn more about these grills.

 

Hunting is  a passion of mine and I am really looking forward to learning more about grilling the wild game that I harvest.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your KJ Classic!  I've smoked fresh caught fish at really low, 180F, temps but have yet to try wild game.  Best of luck and look forward to hearing how it turns out for you.

Welcome aboard! Can't wait to see the things that meet your new grill! One of my good friends hunts a lot and has some trade connections to make up for the stuff he doesn't hunt. We recently did a bear roast wrapped in bacon on a WSM. It came out amazing! It was the first time I've ever enjoyed bear.
