That sucks.  I guess KJ is drop shipping for Atlanta Grill Company.  KJ has a warehouse in Nevada somewhere.. either salt lake city or reno... i am not sure which one.

Nice HotRod. Hope to set mine up on Saturday. How many people did it take to lift it into its cart?

It took 3 of us, my mother and sister helped me pop it into the stand - the biggest issue is they are short (5 foot on a good day) - but since we are all still active farmers when not at our day jobs, throwing a bit of weight around isn't a big deal for us.

Took delivery of a classic iii this morning. I was too anxious to get it set up to wait for assistance. So, I ended up taking the lid off and using a wheelbarrow to get her to her resting spot. I think this would have been my best bet anyhow since I have a muddy slope in the backyard to contend with.

I unpacked my Big Joe III.  Assembly will be simple enough but I'm not quite sure what to do with these.  Manual seems to be for the Classic II.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I actually never received a shipping notice from AGC so it may already be en route. I just got a call from the freight company to schedule delivery.

Good to know, thanks - website still says shipping starts April 8th.

I just ordered the Big Joe last Tuesday the 26th, but the cover and grill expander showed up at my house on Friday the 29th. The guy on the phone at AGC did say those parts would come first.

Waiting...waiting...waiting.........

Here is the response from KJ on the unidentfied parts that came with my Big Joe III.  Happy with the fast response.

Due to the hinge being counter balance, these parts are needed for locking the hinge in the closed position. You would do this if you ever needed to replace the hinge and or outer ceramic. So sorry this is not mentioned in the manual. If you have any further questions let me know.
