Grilled Sprouts — Yes!

Recommended Posts

We do sprouts all the time. I usually cut them in half then grill them on the Blackstone.

For zucchini and Squash cut them up then sprinkle with a very liberal amount of salt and let them sit in a bowl for 30 minutes or so. The salt will pull a lot of moisture out of the zucchini and Squash so they aren't so smushy when grilled. Rinse really well before grilling or they'll end up salty. I never cook zucchini or Squash without the salt prep first.

what kind do you like on sprouts?  like a grated parmesan or romano?

Both are great options. I honestly think blue or stilton would be up to the task as well. Mine probably would just end up with whatever was in the fridge at the time....  I also like @Sodaking27's idea of the balsamic!

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to be trying it this spring/summer!
