bobben_1 0 Posted March 20 Hi, So I need to cook some beef ribs and and some chicken wings. The beef ribs will need about 6 hrs and the winds about 90 min. I’m trying to think through this in the sense that there won’t be enough room to do both at the same time. If i do the ribs first then they’re resting for nearly 2 hours which is too long and if I do the wings first they’ll be cold!! Relatively new to bbq’ing this way so am I missing a trick here?? thanks Ben
ckreef 19,149 Posted March 20 Ribs first the wrapped in foil then in a towel and into a cooler for the rest. Cook the wings at a higher temp and they should get done in 1 hour. Ribs will be fine with a 1 hour rest. If you do the wings first you'll end up with rubbery skin. 2 bobben_1 and K'man reacted to this

Agree with ribs 1st & rest. 90 minutes for wings though? Maybe crank the heat up to about 400-425 for 20 minutes or so (180f) 1 bobben_1 reacted to this
