Is There a "How to Use this Forum" Thread?

Recommended Posts

This is the only forum powered by Invision that I use.  Some activities are a mystery to me.  I've looked for Users' Manual kind of information here and on the Invision web site.  No joy.

Please direct me to user material that I may study.

There is not.  if you have some questions about how to do something I'll be happy to try to answer them.

What forum or forums are you used to using ??

vbulletin  is or has been very popular but as of late invision and xenforo seem to be the best choice cause they are both very user friendly and easy to take care for those that manage them

like john has stated is there a particular function you need to know how to do???

Primarily Simple Machines and vBulletin. There are others that don’t seem to show what they’re Powered By.

EDIT:  You two are kind to offer to coach but I'll not take your time to accomplish something that could be managed in a better way.

Well, yes, there is something that I would find helpful.  Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

This is a screen shot from my iMac, it's the opening page that I prefer.

This is a screen shot from my MacBook Pro.  I can't figure out how to make the configuration match my iMac's opening screen.

So...How do I do that?

Using my MacBookPro, with Firefox, I get the image as shown in your top screen shot. Try holding the

Command Key and press the 0 (Zero) key on the top. That should get you to the default view. Pressing

the Command Key and tapping the + (Plus) key will enlarge the view and it looks like your second

image. Holding the Command Key and pressing the - (Minus) key causes the image to get smaller,

up to a point. This works in Firefox. and maybe, probably will work with Safari. Give it a try.

Just a thought.

Thanks!  That did it.
