Arizona summer question from a soon to Kamado owner

Recommended Posts

Finally back in Tucson after too long. Don't have a grill yet, but research phase is over and Kamado is the winner. Just need to establish an area in the yard where it will live.

Questions to Arizona owners, and others with HOT summers:

Any concerns/issues during the summer for where I keep the grill?

Can it live in full sun, or does it need to be kept in the shade?

Any concerns/issues cooking in the middle of summers when the outdoor temps are also so high?

Anything else to consider?
