Tri-Tip

Aldi has them. This weeks special. Pre seasoned (steakhouse classic). I bought one despite the pre seasoning. About 2.5 pounds.

Reverse sear, @ 225 .

Opened up the bottom vent, top vent on 2. shot up to 450. Put the meat back on to sear on the bottom grate. The Fat hit the fire!

Unlike last time, this one cut like budda. The seasoning/smoke was pretty tasty.789466616_IMG_1757(Medium).thumb.JPG.83c6184cb57de8bb4a2c9ef1097a2a67.JPG

I just picked some up at Kroger. I usually grill them a little, then  braise for a couple hours. What was your time , kamado temp, final temp on the meat ?

Thanks

Again I follow you lol. I noticed some beef ribs today at Kroger and picked up a pack. I’m going to cook it like a brisket.
