Silicon Sam 84 Posted November 29 Bit on the Amazon deal. So now I have the Kamado Joe Trifecta of the Big Joe, Joe Jr and now a Classic II. Almost considered a Quad, still have a black Big Joe I need to part with. But with just me and the missus, 3 Joe's is plenty enough!
levic900rr 6 Posted November 29 Man I wanted to buy one of these but I ended up going with the Akorn for less than half the money. If I still love doing this when the Akorn rots out I'll grab a Joe
JoeDaGriller 0 Posted December 2 Hi - I'm trying to decide between this KJ and the Vision grill Walmart has on sale for $450. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Vision-Grills-1-Series-Ceramic-Kamado-Grill-Red/689175512 I'm totally new to Kamado grilling (have a gas grill and Weber kettle), not sure if it's worth the extra $150 or not. Understand that the big difference seems to be the divide and conquer system that I could always purchase at a later date for the Vision. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. daninpd 1,524 Posted December 4 Wow, rhat's a deal. Mine was a good deal 1-1/2 years ago for $150 more. Hey, it was still a good deal, I have gotten $150 worth of fun out of that thing from pizzas to tandoori to baking cookies in that time. Thumbs Up!
