I can't say how they stack up against @John Setzler's favorites, but I certainly trust his judgment on all things BBQ and Kamado. One word of caution is that some gloves (the ones I linked to, included, I think), even though rated for extremely high temperatures, CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be used if wet as scalding/burning can occur.

@Chris Topher they are probably just as good.  I use those when I want to pick up hot grill grates or heat deflectors... i don't use them for handling hot food.
