Gebo
Where do you buy your wood chunks for smoking? Any tips? The place I was getting mine closed on June 2.
Ophbalance
Home Depot, surprisingly, had large blocks of smoke wood when I was there yesterday.
fbov
And has for years. Ours carry everything; logs, chunks, chips, pellets... with choice of species for all. Frank
Golf Griller
If I want something other than apple, cherry, mesquite, or hickory, I order form here: https://sharpegourmet.com/

I find them to be a bit pricey but they have a great selection and great customer service.

Golf Griller
My last order was almond, olive, red oak, and avocado. None of these are available locally. I have tried each of them and like the taste from each. My wife even liked the Tri Tip that I cooked last Saturday. I used three chunks of the red oak and it gave the meat a great taste, but not too smokey. Chap Swinson
Tarnation
Most grocery stores around me carry lump charcoal and chunks of smoking wood. Usually Cherry, Apple, Hickory, Oak, Pecan, and Mesquite. I also get them from Ace Hardware and Walmart.

Berkmanmvp
Amazon sells most of the different types of wood chunks (at least the more common ones).

It's Western Post Oak chunks. Not sure how long it will take during a pandemic but it was by far the most cost-effective option for me. https://www.acehardware.com/departments/outdoor-living/grills-and-smokers/smoking-chips-and-chunks/8395881
