Best Place to Buy Smoker Wood

My last order was almond, olive, red oak, and avocado. None of these are available locally. I have tried each of them and like the taste from each. My wife even liked the Tri Tip that I cooked last Saturday. I used three chunks of the red oak and it gave the meat a great taste, but not too smokey.

Most grocery stores around me carry lump charcoal and chunks of smoking wood.  Usually Cherry, Apple, Hickory, Oak, Pecan, and Mesquite.  I also get them from Ace Hardware and Walmart.

Apple and hickory chunks I can find almost anywhere. Oak I order at my local Ace, pick up at the store to save on shipping.

Thanks for that. I can't get oak anywhere nearby but this will work for me.

It's Western Post Oak chunks. Not sure how long it will take during a pandemic but it was by far the most cost-effective option for me.
