Porky Fig Pizza

Decided to try something different this weekend, our version of porky fig pizzas. Apologize beforehand for the lousy pics that definitely don't do them justice. 


Started off with store bought pizza dough shaped in to 10 inch +/- pies and a light layer of fig jam spread:



Add the toppings - thick cut bacon, carmelized red onion, mozzarella,  fontina and gorgonzola cheese:



Throw on the Acorn Jr. at 500. 3 minutes, spin, 3 minutes:



Unfortunately no pics of the finished product but it was delicious. The salty bacon and cheeses contrasted with the sweet jam perfectly. I think it is now our ATF pizzas. Highly recommend giving it a try.
