Gebo 36
My "grills" are all on my back deck. There are lights out there but they aren't made to cook by. What do y'all use to keep a close eye on your cooks after dark? I messed up on some expensive steaks last weekend because I thought I was gonna be able to see better. jtemple 43
I think I saw someone that put an LED strip on the underside of the lid handle. Open the lid and it illuminates the grill. Dogstar
SmallBBQr 762
I have a ball cap with led lighting on the front part....works great. Never need it in the summer as it is light here to 11:00pm, but in winter it gets dark at 4:00pm so always using it. Dogstar
Dogstar 35
JTemple and SmallBBQr, I've been thinking about adding some adjustable led flood lights to some fascia or similarboard my house. But I would be creating a shadow across the grill, and thus I'd have to install even more lights to compensate. Your great ideas avoid that problem entirely.
SmallBBQr 762
Should add, a hat (or just one of those work LED headbands etc) also work great for working around the house, on the truck etc...
CentralTexBBQ 1,536
I use this. I bought it from Costco a few years back. Works great I just wish it could be mounted on a stand or that I had a wall, ledge or some type of shelf closer to the Kamado that I could sit it on.

Golf Griller 946
I use a light with a goose neck that will clamp on to the shelf on my KJC. deck 76
I use a headlamp and a make shift street light. I had a 5 gl bucket added concrete stuck a length of 2x4 I had laying around. If you check out led solar flood lights you should be able to find one. I attached it to the 2x4. It's heavy enough not to blow over but light enough to move around. The solar light has enough power even when if it has not been very sunny. It also proved to be a valuable for lighting up the patio area for dinners outside.
