Never had country style ribs. Guess they didn't grow in Texas. :-D

But, Nice looking cook!!!

My Kontrol Tower was loose but, I remembered I had two small pieces of mesh gasket left over from installs. I stuck them between the BJ and the KT and voila. Snug as a bug in a rug.

I don't believe my KT is sealed well. I will try this as I have some felt gasket left over from the Akorn days.

Find some country style ribs, they're great!

The KT that came with my new BJ2 is loose, so much so that I worry that it'll pop off if I'm not careful while removing the cover.  It's air tight during cooking - not a puff of smoke escapes - so the stock gasket works just fine, but it could definitely be physically tighter.  I too have plenty of leftover felt from my Akorn days, so maybe I'll try that too if it becomes necessary.

that was my experience also. lose but no leakage during cooking. I had to constantly spin it to reorient the logo in the front. It certainly feels so much more secure now
