Pulled pork on the Old Country Pit

Due to things out o my control I was forced to cook this 9 pound butt over night at ~20 degrees outside temp...   B)


With my mystery bag of hardwood logs at hand I got started:



A last minute rub I whipped up went on, this included the remains of 3 other batches I found in the pantry.  Kinda stinks that I like it real well, I'll never be able to recreate!

It took roughly 12 hours and cooked at roughly 210 although when I got up to check it around 7 this morning it was moving along at about 170.  Good bark, nice ring, shredded easily and tasted great.


Thanks for checking it out, I'll actually eat and call this one a meal shortly, swing on over. :)
