PrinceofQ 74
My review this week is on the Large Infinity Series Grill Dome Kamado. The Grill Dome Kamado is an all-in-one ceramic charcoal grill that allows you to smoke, bake, grill and sear food. The temperature of the Grill Dome is controlled by adjusting the lower sliding damper and the upper pivoting steel disk vent. The upper disk vent comes in the same color as your grill. The Grill Dome is made in India and comes with a 5 year warranty on gaskets and a lifetime warranty on the rest of the grill. This grill has an 18 inch grill diameter, cooking area of 260 sq. inches and weighs 200 pounds. Below is the video portion of my review as well as my first cook on the Grill Dome. (I don’t normally do video reviews, but I thought I would branch out a little for this review.) aljoseph 3,326
Nicely done Jay. The video review should be of great help to anyone contemplating this kamado. It looks like a quality product. I could almost taste the pork loin when you took your first bite. PrinceofQ
Kamado Man 228
That is a gorgeous grill. Love the blue color. Awesome job on the loin. I haven't seen many Grill Domes other than the one guy named Steve on Youtube. The ceramic charcoal grate is interesting and I wonder how it compares to the cast iron ones. Don't have to worry about rust with the ceramic. PrinceofQ
Ross 2,365
Very nice. Love the grill. PrinceofQ
jrow17 4,851
Great review Jay, that grill dome looks nice, and the paint finish makes it a real eye catcher. PrinceofQ
CVW 91
Nice review, I own a large Grill Dome and I use the ceramic charcoal grate even though I have a metal one too. Ceramic can crack over time but it is under warranty. Their cast iron grate is different and I wish they would change it but who am I. PrinceofQ

Ross 2,365
I'm pretty sure BGE used the ceramic charcoal grate, as well, back in the day, but changed over to SS. I would imagine that they were following in the footsteps of BGE when they went with it. I have that grat on my small BGE, and I do prefer SS. PrinceofQ
PrinceofQ 74
Thanks so much for all the kind words you guys! I really appreciate it! I'm not used to doing video reviews, but I figured I would give it a shot for part of my review post. It was a fun review to work on and the Grill Dome is a great product. Thanks again you guys! ~Jay Prince

I had the ceramic charcoal grate confused with the enamel coated main grate. BGE had enamel coated main grates, much like Primo does now, and, it appears, what is on Prince's Grill Dome. Ido believe green Eg is now using Stainless steel grilling grates, and I believe the only two manufacturers still using enamel coated grates are Primo and Grill Dome. philpom 7,514
I have said before, the Grill Dome is one sexy kamado. I have seen one in person and I can say for sure that it is a very nice 'K'.nice cook! PrinceofQ

Tom Murdoch 0
Terrible warranty, my unit deteriorated after 2 seasons and became inoperable. The ceramic exterior crumbled. When I complained they said I let water in it. No way did I leave it open to allow water. They offered to provide the base but I had to pay for upper piece plus shipping, over $500. What a rip off. Despite being a decent cooker, I'd never again deal with this company.
